The exceptionally nice location minutes from a subway station was just what I needed.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The rooms here are cozy with individual features like central heating and a writing table, and the bathrooms are fairly clean. Rewritten: the rooms are comfy with personal touches like central heating and a desk, while the bathrooms are pretty clean.

our stay at a cozy apartment in Porto was fantastic. The host, Margarida, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us great recommendations for exploring the city. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had a lovely terrace. The location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and attractions.
Rooftop terrace was small.

Great spot that's always tidy, plus you can't beat the location near the old town. Super convenient being close to an awesome grocery store and the sea. 🌊 Also, there's a cool Vip Lounge Bar nearby where you can just chill out.

I had a wonderful stay at A Casa Das Margaridas. The host, Margarida, was incredibly kind and accommodating, even waiting for me when I arrived late for check-in. The guest house was very clean and comfortable. The beds were soft and the shared bathroom was kept spotless. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the metro which made it easy to explore the city. Margarida also took the time to give me great recommendations on what to see and do in Porto. The Casa Das Margaridas hotel provided a database with two remarkable features that enhanced my stay. the room was equipped with a good-sized double bed, ensuring a comfortable and restful sleep. the room had a delightful terrace, allowing me to enjoy the pleasant weather and take in the charming surroundings.
Although my overall experience at Casa Das Margaridas was positive, there was one minor drawback. The shower in the room had low water pressure, which made it slightly inconvenient during my stay.

The value for money at this guesthouse was excellent - a comfortable roomy apartment with all the necessary facilities. The location was great, with plenty of buses, a supermarket, and typical restaurants nearby. The staff, especially Margarida, were incredibly hospitable and provided helpful information about the city.
The menu for breakfast could use some improvement.

The first thing that stood out to me was the room with a terrace. It was lovely to have an outdoor space where I could relax and enjoy the fresh air. the good-sized double bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after a long day of exploring the city.
There was one minor drawback during my stay. The doors in the hotel were quite noisy, and as a result, I found it challenging to get a good night's sleep due to the disturbances caused by other guests.

Margarida, the host, was incredibly welcoming and flexible with my late check-in. the house was immaculately clean and well-maintained. the wifi, although not perfect, was good enough for me to work, although I did experience some interruptions during my Zoom conferences. the shared table provided a great opportunity to connect with other guests, and the view from the balcony was beautiful, offering a glimpse of the sky and even a small portion of the sea. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation, cultural sites, and charming cafes/restaurants. Cons: Can't fault anything about it! 😊.
